After several years photographer Charlie Crane got the permission to make a photoserie in North Korea. Shooting behind the surface in one of the mos untransparant countries of the world was imposible because of two personal guides who were with him all day. Instead he decided to capture this strict arranged surface to show the world how Korea is keeping up appearances. For me it shows the power of a photojournalist that combines imagery with a message. Beautiful!
